This one feels really special 🥹✨😍🥰💚
Toby had been experiencing vomiting episodes since he was 4 years old 🥺
Now in his 20s, it had become something that affected so many parts of his life - mornings, work, school, social situations, meeting new people, going away with friends, and even doing simple everyday things.
He had already tried so many of the “normal” options - counselling, anti-nausea medication, breath work, diet changes and while some things helped a little, nothing had fully stopped the pattern.
After 6 hypnotherapy sessions over 2 months, he has completely stopped vomiting.

A funny thing sometimes happens during hypnotherapy.........
Clients come to me wanting help with anxiety, stress, overthinking, panic, shutdowns, low confidence, emotional overwhelm, or feeling completely stuck.
And then, partway through our work together, they’ll often say something like:
“I don’t know if this is related, but I’ve also lost weight.”
And yes it can absolutely be related.
One of my clients this week told me he had lost 8kg in the two months we worked together, and like many clients, weight loss wasn’t the focus at all.
What we were really working on was helping his subconscious mind and nervous system finally come out of that constant fight/flight/shutdown state.
For the first time in his life, his body was no longer operating as though it needed to protect him all the time.
And when the body no longer feels under threat, it can stop holding on so tightly.
Chronic stress can impact cortisol, digestion, cravings, sleep, inflammation, blood sugar, energy, and weight storage. So it makes sense that when someone begins to feel calmer, safer, more settled, and more in control, their body may begin to respond in a healthier way too.
This isn’t about “trying harder.”
It isn’t about restriction.
It isn’t about willpower.
It’s about helping the body and mind stop fighting each other.
And that’s one of the most beautiful things about hypnotherapy, the changes often ripple into areas clients weren’t even expecting.
When your subconscious no longer believes you need to stay in survival mode, your whole system can begin to shift.
Calmer mind. Safer body. Better sleep. More energy. Healthier choices. Less self-sabotage.
And sometimes, yes, weight loss too.
