🌟 Rising Stars Explore Māori Maths! 🌟

This week our Rising Stars tamariki are embarking on an exciting journey into Māori Maths, learning through stories, culture, counting, and play.

At Trinity, we believe learning is most powerful when it is meaningful, engaging and connected to our bicultural heritage. We can't wait to see our tamariki discovering maths through storytelling, imagination and fun!

💚 Ka Hikitia – Kia Maia – Kia Manawanui – Kia Kotahi 💚

📖✨ Over the next two weeks, we will be embarking on a special journey through our A–Z Bible Affirmations.

Each day, the children will discover a new letter and a positive affirmation based on God's Word, helping them to build confidence, kindness, faith, and a strong sense of who they are in Christ.

What a privilege it is to be able to share these powerful truths with our children and encourage them to speak life and positivity over themselves. We can't wait to see them grow in confidence as they learn that they are loved, valued, and wonderfully made by God. 💛

Term 2 at Trinity! Our children will be exploring the theme “God’s Creation – Seasons and Time” over the next two weeks. Through hands-on activities, stories, and creative experiences, tamariki will learn about how God created the sun, moon, and earth to give us days, months, and seasons. We’ll also explore the beauty of autumn, reflect on ANZAC Day, and encourage curiosity and wonder as children discover how seasonal changes shape our everyday lives. Thanks teacher Ava for this fun and exciting learning opportunity.

🌼 Rising Stars – Easter Focus 🌼

Over the next few weeks, our Rising Stars children will be learning about the meaning of Easter and the special message it brings ✝️

We will be focusing on Jesus’ love for everyone and celebrating His resurrection, helping children understand that His love is for all of us 💛

We will also explore important values such as:
✨ Kindness
✨ Caring for others
✨ Friendship
✨ Showing love in our everyday actions

Our goal is to help children connect these meaningful messages to their own lives in a simple and age-appropriate way 🌈

We look forward to a special time of learning, creativity, and reflection together!

🌿 Celebrating Families at Trinity Kindy 🌿

Over the next two weeks, our learning focus will be all about families. Families come in many shapes and sizes, and each one is special and important.

We will be talking with the children about the people who love and care for them, sharing stories about our families, and exploring what makes each family unique, as well as family traditions. ❤️

Stacey from JD Dance Studio came to share some fun dancing with the children! 💃🕺
The tamariki had an amazing time moving their bodies, learning new dance steps, and expressing themselves through music. There were lots of smiles, giggles, and energetic moves as they followed along and tried something new.
Dancing is such a wonderful way to build confidence, coordination, listening skills, and teamwork — and most of all, it’s FUN! 🎶✨
