This is how I prepare my working area before replacing new ceiling gib.

Water tracked down outside wall to bathroom. Damage to ceiling above toilet and vanity up to beam in ceiling. Our job is to replace gib to ceiling damaged area, and paint all of bathroom ceiling and walls.

Tip of the day: Mold can be seen on ceiling possibly indicating a gradual leak.

Water has leaked from first floor shower waste onto ground floor open plan kitchen, dining, lounge gib ceiling causing staining and slight sagging to gib. Here I share with you some of the works I and my team have done so far.

Water pipe has leaked damaging wall gib and skirtings to wardrobe door way and skirting to external wall . Then continued through floor damaging ceiling gib of laundry. My advice is solve the issues when they are small.

Storm water has seeped up through floor wetting carpet and wall gib. To stop leak, Paintplas came and solved the problem in one day. We are a multi-task team.

Water has leaked from kitchen ceiling down walls and onto floating overlay flooring that continues into dining area. Wall linings of kitchen backing dining room appear to have peaked causing wall tiles to release and cracking to wall plaster. Suggestion . DONT WAIT UNTIL YOU CAN SEE THE LEAK, FIX IT AT THE FIRST SIGHT.

This happended in a daycare.Rats chewed through pipes in ceiling which has been repaired by plumber.
