PGS Steve has been running The Trials of Spring - a rotating restricted-format event where a new themed Avatar pool is revealed every two weeks. Players build decks around that limited meta, with themes like The Mighty, The Mystical, The Wicked, The Magical, The Forgotten, and The Favored.

This is exactly the kind of creative, community-driven play we love to see, giving everyone a reason to try Avatars they've never run before!

The Grand Contest comes to Canada for the first time this October 10th, and the Assorted Animals are the ones making it happen.

With artists Alan Pollack, Drew Tucker, Heidi Taillefer, and Sam McKinnon in attendance, mark your calendars for Montreal, all players from across North America are welcome.
