Our wonderful Tauranga group recently performed at IHC Tauranga’s Shining Like Diamonds ✨ An incredible event organised by IHC for people with an intellectual disability and their families/caregivers.

Our performers shared a special mashup called Guardians of the Wild, created by our very own stars 🎶 The project features every one of our performers, making it a truly unique and meaningful creation.

We are so proud of everyone involved 💚

Keep your eyes peeled… the full music video will be released soon! 👀

🎉 Today is Williams Syndrome Day! 💙

Williams Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that affects around 1 in 10,000 people. People with WS often have remarkable verbal memory, a deep love for music and dance, and very social personalities. While they can also face challenges including heart conditions, developmental delays, and learning differences, their energy, kindness, and passion are truly inspiring.

Meet Khea from our Whangārei group and Iris from our North Shore Adults class ✨

Khea is a valued member of GC and brings so much light, laughter, and fun to our classes. One of the characteristics often associated with Williams Syndrome is a strong connection to music, and Iris loves attending Glass Ceiling classes where she can showcase her singing and dancing talents 🎶💃

Today we celebrate and raise awareness for the Williams Syndrome community and all the amazing individuals who make it so special 💙

After a sold out season, we’re bringing back The Village of 12 Nights 🎭✨ Opening this Thursday!

Emily is one of our wonderful performers, and her story is a reminder of why we created these classes and this show in the first place. What happens on stage is just as powerful as what happens off stage. Creating opportunities for talent that is too often overlooked.

Born with both Down syndrome and autism, Emily had been largely non-verbal since the age of 11 due to what is now recognised as Down Syndrome Regression Disorder.

At the end of our season last year, Emily’s mum shared with us how meaningful it had been to communicate with her daughter again through this experience. Honestly, we were surprised and overwhelmed with joy and pride to hear this, because from the moment Emily was given her lines, she put in the work and continued improving her performance more and more each week 💖

We are so proud of Emily and all of our performers for what they bring both on stage and off.

We’re so excited to be bringing this beautiful original show back to the stage!!

Catch our wonderful performers:
✨ Thursday 7pm
✨ Friday 10:30am and 7pm
✨ Saturday 4pm
