From Cabling to Completion: A Seamless Meeting Room AV Installation
Another meeting room installation completed by the Cackle team — and this one came together beautifully.
This Microsoft Teams Room features an LG 75” display, Yealink A50 video bar, CTP25 touch console, and VCM35 extension microphones.
The final result was phenomenal, and most importantly, the customer was extremely happy.
At Cackle, we take pride in delivering meeting room installations to a very high standard — from clean cabling and equipment positioning, through to configuration, testing, and handover.
A great meeting room should feel simple:
Walk in.
Join the meeting.
Share content.
Be seen and heard clearly.
Well done to the team for delivering another clean, professional outcome.

The cleanest meeting rooms are not created on installation day.
They are planned much earlier.
Before the walls are sealed.
Before the cabling routes are hidden.
Before the furniture layout is finalised.
When the Pro AV team is involved early in the building process, we can help define the right equipment, cabling, mounting positions, data requirements, and user experience from the start.
The result?
A meeting room that looks clean, works reliably, and feels simple for the people using it.
No visible cable mess.
No awkward device placement.
No last-minute compromises.
Just walk in, start the meeting, share the screen, and connect with the team.
Good AV should feel effortless.
But effortless only happens when it is designed properly from the beginning.

From an empty structure to a high-impact digital advertising platform.
This before-and-after comparison shows how a large-format outdoor LED display can transform an ordinary urban location into a powerful communication asset.
Installed above a high-traffic roadway, the display gives brands the opportunity to reach thousands of drivers, commuters and pedestrians every day.
Unlike traditional printed billboards, digital signage provides greater flexibility and long-term value:
• Content can be updated remotely
• Multiple campaigns can run on one display
• Bright, dynamic visuals attract more attention
• Messages can change by time, audience or campaign
• No repeated printing or physical replacement is required
However, a successful outdoor LED installation involves much more than simply mounting a screen.
It requires careful consideration of:
• Viewing distance and display size
• Pixel pitch and image clarity
• Screen brightness and daylight visibility
• Structural engineering and mounting
• Weather protection and ventilation
• Power, data and content management
• Ongoing maintenance and accessibility
When properly designed and installed, an outdoor LED display becomes more than a screen. It becomes a high-visibility digital communication platform that works continuously for the business.
Another meeting room installation completed by Cackle.
For this room, we installed a MAXHUB CMB 86" display, paired with a MAXHUB U50 all-in-one video collaboration bar and MAXHUB WT13 wireless screen sharing dongle.
This setup creates a clean, practical and easy-to-use meeting space for everyday meetings, wireless presentations and remote video calls.
The all-in-one design of the U50 helps reduce unnecessary equipment around the room by bringing the camera, microphones and speakers together in one streamlined solution. With the WT13 dongle, users can also share content wirelessly without needing extra cables across the table.
The result is a meeting space that is:
• Easy for staff to use
• Clean and professional
• Ready for video conferencing
• Suitable for wireless presentations
• Better suited for hybrid collaboration
• Free from unnecessary cables and clutter
A good meeting room should not feel complicated.
It should allow people to walk in, start the meeting and focus on the conversation.

From an empty corridor to a smarter patient experience.
This before-and-after concept shows how thoughtfully designed digital signage can transform a healthcare environment.
Rather than simply adding screens, an effective healthcare signage system can help patients and visitors:
Find clinics, imaging, laboratories and exits more easily
View appointment and queue information clearly
Receive important health messages in real time
Reduce confusion and unnecessary questions at reception
Experience a more organised and professional facility
In busy medical environments, clear communication matters.
A combination of digital wayfinding, appointment displays and wall-mounted information screens can help healthcare providers deliver the right information, in the right place, at the right time.
The result is not only a more modern space—it is a calmer, clearer and more patient-focused experience.

Why Speaker Placement Matters More Than Speaker Brand
When planning a commercial audio system, many people focus first on speaker brands, power ratings and price.
But even the best speaker cannot perform properly if it is installed in the wrong place.
Speaker placement determines:
How evenly sound is distributed
How clearly people can understand speech
How much sound reflects from walls and glass
How likely microphones are to produce feedback
Whether multiple speaker zones work together correctly
For example, placing all speakers at the front of a room may make the front seats too loud while people at the back still struggle to hear.
Increasing the volume is not always the answer. It can create more reflections, reduce clarity and increase feedback risk.
Professional audio design considers the correct speaker type, quantity, spacing, coverage angle and relationship between speakers and microphones.
In larger spaces, DSP delay alignment may also be required so that sound from different speaker zones arrives at the right time.
A reputable brand provides reliability and performance potential.
But placement, coverage design and calibration determine what people actually hear.
The question should not only be:
“Which speaker brand should we buy?”
It should also be:
“Where should the speakers be installed so everyone can hear clearly?”
Good audio is not created by equipment alone.
It is created through correct design, placement and calibration.

Where does digital signage work best?
Digital signage is most effective when it is placed where people naturally pause, look, decide, or wait.
For retail and commerce, this could be storefront displays, promotional campaign screens, new product launch displays, membership offers, or in-store product highlights.
For restaurants and hotels, this could be digital menu boards, live price and availability updates, lobby welcome screens, meeting room schedules, and guest promotions.
But good digital signage is not just about location.
It is also about viewing angle, brightness, customer flow, content type, dwell time, power and network access, and how easy it is for the team to update the content.
When done well, digital signage becomes part of the customer journey.
It helps guide people, promote key messages, reduce staff workload, and create a more professional experience.
At Cackle, we help businesses design and deploy digital signage solutions that are practical, reliable, and built around how people actually move through the space.
If you have a digital signage requirement for your restaurant, retail store, hotel, office, or customer-facing environment, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Not every meeting space needs to be fixed.
This video shows the full setup of a recent Yealink Meeting Display + video bar + CTP25 Microsoft Teams Room solution, installed on a mobile trolley.
The result is a flexible meeting solution that can be moved between different spaces when and where it is needed.
For many workplaces, this can be a practical alternative to building a fully fixed meeting room in every area. Whether it is a project space, training room, temporary meeting area, shared office, or multipurpose room, a mobile Teams Room setup gives teams more flexibility without compromising the meeting experience.
A successful deployment is still about more than just putting equipment on a trolley.
It requires the right display height, camera position, cable management, power planning, device configuration, network connectivity, and user testing to make sure the experience is simple and reliable.
When done well, people can walk in, move the system into place, tap to join, and start collaborating.
Flexible spaces need flexible technology.

We recently completed another meeting room AV installation.
This room includes:
An Epson ceiling-mounted projector
A large motorised projection screen
A Yealink PTZ camera for video meetings
3 Yealink ceiling microphone for clear voice pickup
6 Ceiling speakers for even sound coverage
A room control panel for simple operation
The room is designed for presentations, training sessions and online meetings.
The setup is simple: users can display content, join a video meeting and speak clearly without needing to move equipment around.
Everything is installed neatly into the room, keeping the tables and walls clean and easy to use.
