the greatest HEARTS batter in history, Katie Perkins!
Katie will hate us calling her the greatest, but the numbers don't lie: 5,667 runs across formats at an average in the mid 30s with four tons and 35 half centuries. She also represented the Whiteferns in 128 matches between 2011-2021.
Happy birthday, legend!

one of Auckland Cricket's legends, John McIntyre! (pictured seated third from right).
McIntyre's left arm orthodox netted him 238 first class wickets for Auckland (fourth highest on our list) at an incredible average of 22.88 over a 21-year career. He was a key performer in two title-winning Auckland sides (1977/78 and 1980/81) and was a stalwart of Grafton Cricket Club.
Bonus marks for anyone that can spot a young Martin Crowe in this team photo of the winning 1980/81 Auckland side!

HEARTS bowler Amberly Parr has called time on her domestic playing career. A Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club stalwart, Amberly represented Auckland 8 times between 2021/22 and 2022/23.
"Although my time in the HEARTS set up was brief, it was a great opportunity to develop as a player and was filled with awesome experiences.
"I have decided to step away from the domestic space to focus on my career and to begin to explore coaching in the women's space as that is an area I am passionate about."
Best of luck Amberly - we're looking forward to seeing your impact behind the scenes in the years to come!
