Years ago, I was just a kid in the Philippines, enjoying simple food with my family and friends.

Back then, I didn’t know that those little moments would become some of my favourite memories. Sharing snacks after school, eating with friends before going home, sitting around the table with family, and enjoying food without thinking too much about life.

As I got older and moved away from home, I started missing those simple things — especially the food.

That’s where Kusingero came from.

I didn’t create Kusingero just to sell Filipino food. I wanted to share the food I grew up eating, but also the memories behind it.

Every dish has a little piece of my childhood. Some remind me of family. Some remind me of friends. Some take me straight back to those days when life felt much simpler.

And sometimes, all it takes is one bite to bring back a memory.🐒
