By far the best meal I’ve had in a while.

Everyone finished… and I was still out there.

Not because I’m the fittest. Not because I’m the fastest.

But because I refuse to cut corners on myself.

I’ve rushed things before. Taken the easy way out. And it always cost me in the long run.

So now I finish what I start, even if I’m the last one left.

Can’t lie I love working in South Auckland.

I’ve been walking around on my lunch breaks and was about to start vlogging until this happened , and I was so taken back that I just put my phone away and enjoyed the rest of my hikoi.

Growing up, it was Central everything. I never stepped outside of it.

But being out here, serving the community… you start to see the concrete rose growing through it all.

Goes to show you shouldn’t believe everything you see on the Internet.
