Ice cream shop π¦π¨
Our younger tamariki have been busy exploring and imagining in the sandpit this week! π
A painted box became an ice cream shop, which sparked lots of curiosity as the children discovered they could walk inside and peek through the openings.
Through open-ended play like this, tamariki build confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and social connections while having fun together. We loved watching their ideas come to life! π

Stomp, stomp, ROAR! π¦π¨
Our Tui kids had a dinosaur-sized adventure, creating colourful footprints on paper with their dino feet! From tiny tracks to giant stomps, their imaginations ran wild as they explored art, movement.
Our tamariki shared ideas, compared footprints, discussed different dinosaur sizes, and used descriptive language to talk about the patterns and marks they created.
Through hands-on exploration, they were learning about cause and effect, self-expression, and problem-solving while having lots of prehistoric fun!
