‘Blueberry shining’ took place during the assembly of these tarts! Yes, we had to shine the blueberries with a napkin - something bakers do apparently but it made a huge difference on the presentation.

These tarts were a simple shortcrust pastry topped with cream and fresh berries. Cornflower petals to decorate on top.

I will be taking a break from selling my bakes in Auckland as I start a new adventure and relocate to London.

I have signed up to a 6 week Patisserie course - something I have always dreamt of doing 👩🏼‍🍳

I will now use this account to share my experiences with food and what London has to offer ❤️

Introducing 3 new flavours to the Sweet Assets menu as well as Minis and Custom Cakes.

We are 🍌‘s for this one! The Banana One - our favourite banana cake with chunks of walnut and dark chocolate, served with our delicious chocolate, banana and rum sauce. We burn off the alcohol but we can also do this without.

Boysenberry & Cream is a delicious combination, homely and sure to keep you warm over winter.

‘Not For Everyone’… is not for everyone - Rose and Pistachio flavours run through a creamy cheesecake which tones down this interesting pairing. For some this is a ‘yuk’ but for us it’s a ‘yum’!
