Foundations of Zetland Lodge

There was some elaborate steel work involved in these foundations as well as boxing to get the desired finish we required, with 5 different heights to accommodate the different claddings and finished concrete levels. We also added in a 45˚ bevelled finish to the outer edge to bring back the older style of character often seen in the foundations of that era, with a rendered plaster finish to add texture.

Prepping of Zetland Lodge

We worked with Brent and the team at Mid-Canterbury Building Removals Limited to prep the house ready for shifting from it's former site.
We demo'd the enclosed veranda, removed the old kitchen, demo'd the garage and worked with Brent to pull the old laundry wing off the side of the house, meanwhile Brent's crew were jacking the house up to strengthen the structure ready to go on the truck.

Once the house was on board and shifted to the new site, we worked together to strengthen the floor framing to the engineers instructions then lowered it back down onto new piles to finely reside at its new location.

🔨 Display Cabinets 🔨

Carpet Court Ashburton came to us with a concept idea for displaying different style drapes and staged bedding. We worked together to come up with a solution to ensure it was made to easily move around the shop and pull down into two separate pieces for transportation. We also built a partition wall unit to surround the desk to match the display cabinets.

We worked with another builder Billy Edgar to design and execute the landscaping of his house. We're pretty happy with the final result, looking awesome!
We incorporated the negative detailing that is throughout the interior into the pergola for a unique finish.
