The journey has officially begun! Our amazing students have arrived in Kalikot and Dolpa to kick off their two-month volunteering adventure.
It took an immense amount of hard work and dedication to get here, and we are incredibly proud of their selfless commitment to making a difference.
But the kindness doesn't stop there! A massive shoutout to our NAG boys and girls basketball teams, who generously donated chess sets to the students in Dolpa. 🏀♟️ This wonderful game will give local students a fantastic opportunity to sharpen their minds, unleash their creativity, and build critical and logical thinking skills.
Thank you, NAG basketball team, for leading with heart and teamwork both on and off the court.

Dolpo Tomorrow is creating hope through education in one of Nepal’s most remote regions. Supporting 80 students from nursery to grade 10, this initiative is truly transforming lives.
Our Academic Network Nag (ANN) Teacher Training Project had the privilege of delivering a five-day professional development program for four dedicated teachers from Chakr Bhot School. Together, we explored differentiation, motivation, game-based learning, questioning methods, personal hygiene, and the power of a growth mindset.
Their passion and commitment remind us that meaningful change in education begins with empowered teachers.
Special thank to our Clinic team for their in this training to make it happen.

As we wrap up the school year 2082, we had the privilege of ending on a truly inspiring note with our final Professional Development session: *“Life Coaching Workshop for Teachers: A Taste of Awareness,” led by wonderful Audrey Forgeron.
It was more than just a session, it was an experience. The energy in the room was uplifting, and the smiles on every teacher’s face reflected how meaningful and refreshing it was. As educators, taking time to reflect, grow, and reconnect with our purpose is essential and this workshop reminded us exactly why.
A heartfelt thank you to Audrey and Jessica Held for making this session such a success. Your guidance and passion left a lasting impact on all of us.
Here’s to more opportunities like this because when teachers grow, classrooms thrive.

Day 10 of our training focused on the importance of a print-rich classroom and a supportive physical learning environment, one of the key pillars every teacher should understand. This session helped our grade 12 students to think more deeply about how classrooms can inspire learning and curiosity in students.
We also took a moment to bid a heartfelt farewell to the dedicated teacher who joined us all the way from Tapriza School, Mid Dolpa to learn and grow with us. Your commitment to education truly inspires us. Wishing you a safe journey and continued success in empowering young minds!

Day Nine: Bringing Stories to Life
On Day Nine, our Grade 12 students discovered that stories are not just meant to be read instead they are meant to be experienced. Through storytelling, skits, and storyboard activities, they brought their class texts to life in creative and meaningful ways.
By stepping into the characters’ roles and visualizing key scenes, students developed deeper understanding, empathy, teamwork, and confidence. They realized that books are more than academic requirements; they carry powerful lessons that connect to real life.
Today’s activity reminded us all that reading becomes truly impactful when we engage with it, reflect on it, and creatively express it. Learning literature can be both meaningful and fun.

Day Eight is all about bringing energy, creativity, and excitement into the classroom!
Today, our Grade 12 students are exploring the power of learning through play. They are discovering that games are not just for fun instead they are powerful teaching tools that make lessons engaging, communicative, dynamic, and truly memorable.
In this session, students are learning different game strategies to teach in their demonstration classes.

Day seven with our Grade 12 students is all about discovering the power of questioning! Today, we’re exploring different questioning methods and types of questions, and how thoughtful preparation can transform a simple lesson into an engaging, inclusive experience for everyone.
Asking questions may seem simple, but it is one of the most powerful tools in teaching and learning. The right questions spark curiosity, encourage deeper thinking, and give every student a voice. They also help us reflect, grow, and better understand each learner’s journey.
Together, we’re learning how to ask meaningful questions that inspire participation, build confidence, and make the classroom a space where everyone feels valued and excited to contribute.
