n the 25th of January COSECO Nepal Pvt. Ltd and its local partners proudly launched their pilot program for automated fare collection in Public transport busses in Pokhara Nepal. A successful Pilot will result in in the deployment of up to 850 buses running with our fare collection systems (AFCS) in Pokhara. This project is one that we have been working on for since 2019 and with was halted during COVID and we have been anxiously awaiting for the program to (re)launch. COSECO aims to digitalize the world as a means of bringing people closer together. We hope that this project will help develop the transportation system of Pokhara and provide safer, more convenient and easier access to public transport for all. Keep your eyes on this channel as updates on this project will follow shortly.
