On the 17th, Milap organised an Induction Program for participants of the Marginalised Youth Engagement through Vocational Training and Business Start-up Project 2026. The 24 participants were enrolled in Professional Barista, Beautician, and Diploma in Computer, Nursery Management & Floriculture, Internship, and Motor Driving training. Respective training centre owners were also present, strengthening collaboration and shared commitment.
The program began with prayer and worship. Pastor Ramesh Raj Regmi, Chairperson of Milap, delivered a biblical message drawing from the Gospel of Matthew 25:14–30 (The Parable of the Talents). He emphasised the God-given worth, dignity, and potential of every individual, encouraging participants to practise integrity, faithfulness, and perseverance, and to view their training as a pathway to responsible living and hope.
The induction session was led by Rajendra Bahadur Thapa, Executive Director of Milap, who oriented participants on the project’s objectives and expectations, encouraging commitment and discipline throughout their training journey.
The event served not only as a formal introduction but also as a time of spiritual reflection, encouragement, and renewed commitment. It reinforced the importance of character, responsibility, and self-belief, while emphasising holistic growth grounded in Christian values. The program concluded with a shared sense of motivation and optimism, as participants prepared to embark on their respective training journeys with confidence and purpose.
A Heartfelt Condolence Message !!!
We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of over 19 young lives during the recent Gen Z protests in Nepal. These were bright sons and daughters of our nation, filled with courage and dreams for a better tomorrow. Their untimely deaths have left families shattered and communities in mourning.
As people of faith, we believe that every life is sacred in God's eyes. In this painful moment, we find comfort in the promise of Scripture: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). May God’s peace surround the grieving families, and may His healing touch be on the injured and all who carry hidden wounds.
On behalf of Milap, we extend our heartfelt condolences to every grieving family. We stand with the youth of Nepal, honouring their bravery in speaking out for justice, accountability, and freedom. Their sacrifice reminds us that the voices of young people must be heard, respected, and protected.
Milap is dedicated to collaborating with communities to promote peace, reconciliation, and social change. We urge all leaders and citizens to choose dialogue over division, compassion over violence, and unity over conflict.
May the memory of these young lives inspire our nation to pursue justice and hope, and may their families find strength in the love and prayers of many who share in their grief.
