"Project Cycle Management Training by MICD in Kathmandu"

The MICD organised a comprehensive Training Workshop on Project Cycle Management (PCM) for it’s students and invitees in Kathmandu from 29 to 31 March 2025. Over 30 participants usefully completed this specific training that aimed to equip students with the necessary aspects of the PCM and an understanding of practical tools through intensive workshops delivered by highly professional experts. The workshops cover introduction, problem analysis, objective setting, project implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, including budgeting and reporting.

Highly professional experts such as Mr. Shiva Bhandari, Mr. Uttam Uprety, Mr. Prakash Sharma, and Mr. Bishnu Bahadur Khatri delivered different components of the PCM training workshop making it more practical and learning for the students.

Mr. Kamalesh DC, the MICD Program Director highlighted the importance of learning practical tools and techniques for MICD graduates to succeed in their professional careers followed by distributing certificates of completion to the participants.

The participants of the PCM Training Workshop also reflected on their learning and exposure which they found an important learning opportunity to strengthen necessary skills and knowledge for project management and use in real working scenarios.

The MICD conducts different training workshops, summer schools, and learning exposure creating opportunities for students frequently.
