Artist Introduction: Suresh Raj Bajracharya
Suresh Raj Bajracharya is a highly skilled musician with a Master's degree in Music (Sangeet Praveen) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti in Allahabad, India. He specializes in playing the sarod, Sitar, and tabala, as well as various Nepali folk instruments such as Madal, Tungna, and traditional drums like Dhaa, Nayakhin, Dafakhin, and Damakhin. Suresh's passion for music was passed down from his family, where his father, Keshav Raj Bajracharya, and his grandfather, Gandharva Raj Bajracharya, both taught him traditional and folk songs from a young age.
Under the guidance of his main Guru, Sangeet Praveen Mohan Prashad Joshi, who had a wealth of knowledge in classical instruments, Suresh has become a renowned artist who has played in many national and international places, including Hong Kong, Japan, Norway, Germany, and China, among others. His impressive musical experiences include serving as the Assistant Music Director of Nepal Academy, an Executive member of Vadhya Siromani Gharana, an Assistant Professor at the Music Department of Kathamandu University, and a member of the Music Department at Tribhuwan University and Kalanighi Indira Sangeet Maha Vidyalaya.
Suresh has also received numerous awards for his musical talents, including first, second, and third prizes from Radio Nepal, the Kirateshwor Youth Music Award in 2006 from Kirateshwor Sangeetashram, and the Rameswar Youth Classical Music Award in 2006 from Manjushree Sangeet Maha Vidhyalaya. In 1997, he had the honor of performing for Royal Highness King Charles at Kathmandu, as well as for King Birendra. Suresh's expertise in Nepali folk music and classical instruments has made him a celebrated musician both locally and globally.
Artist Introduction: Milesh Tandukar
Mr Milesh Tandukar, the founder president of Pundit Satya Narayan Chaudhary memorial academy, is a master degree in tabala from Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Allahabad) in 2002 with merit. Son of Sanu Tandukar, he is a student of legendry gurus like Pandit Sataya Narayan Chaudhary, Pundit Homnath Upadhaya, Prem Chandra Ojhaiya. He is a versatile musician with a vast knowledge of instruments like Mridhanga, Dhime, Khin, Nagada, Bango, Dhol & Djimbe. He is an acknowledged radio and & television artist in nepal. He has made musical tours in France-2003, Japan-2006 & India 1999-2000. He has worked in musical albums called Musical Journey to Shindhuli Gadhi & Voiceles voice. He is also involved as music instructor in Modern Indian School, Kalanidhi Indra Sangeet Mahavidhalaya, R.R. Collage, Vadhya Shiromani Gharana.
Artist Introduction: Milan Tandukar
Mr Milan Tandukar, son of renowned multi talented instrumentalist Sanu Tandukar is a Sangeet Praveen (Master Degree from Pragya Sangeet Samithi, Allahabad, India) he gained knowledge o violin from renowned Guru Sangeet Pravin Mohan Prasad Joshi adn extra knowledge from Kumar Lal Shrestha & Prem chandra Ojhaya. An artist in Radio Nepal & Nepal Television, he is involved as music instructor (Violin) in Kalanidhi Indira Sangeet Mahavidhalaya, Vandya Siromani Gharana, Subhatara School, Strophikus Music Land and many other well known institutions. He has performed more than 200 stage appearances and has worked in the albums music journey (1999 A.D), voicelees voice (2004) and Kalchakra. He has been awarded with Kalanidhi music award (Gold Metal), Kirateshwor Sangeet Ashram Award, Anam Sandhaya Award & Shookrabar concert award. In recent times, he has toured Germany, Australia & India for musical concert.
Artist Introduction: NIKHIL TULADHAR

Nikhil Tuladhar has been a professional drummer and percussionist since 1996 playing with various rock, jazz and fusion bands
(Mukti and Revival, Trikaal, Rock Sitar, Nepathya, Project One).
He has performed at various international places
(UK, USA, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, France Holland, Finland, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Dubai, Uzbekistan, India…)
He was awarded as Nationwide best drummer for continuous 3 years.
Artist Introduction: Rizu ST Sindurakar Tuladhar
Participating Band: KANTA dAb dAb
Rizu Tuladhar has been a professional bass player for two decades.
Head of the western band ensemble department at the Nepal Music Centre; he also teaches classic band ensemble at the Ethnomusicology Department of the
Kathmandu University.
Involved with various bands bands
(Looza, Trikaal, Kutumba, Hari Maharjan Project,
Mukti’n Revival…)
and collaborated to different musical projects with international artists (Vilma Timonen Quartet, Daniel Givone….)
Artist Introduction: Sunit Kansakar
Playing Band in the event: KANTA dAb dAb
Sunit Kansakar has been playing guitar and sitar for two decades.
Beside being a professional musician and a sound engineer; he is also a music instructor at the
Nepal Music Center.
Involved with different bands since 1994
(Mukti’n Revival, Looza…)
He has performed at several venues and festivals both in Nepal and abroad
(India, Australia,
Hong Kong, UK…).

Kanta dAb dAb is a Sitar, Bass and Percussions trio; Sunit Kansakar on Sitar, ST Sindurakar Tuladhar on Bass-guitar, NIKHIL TULADHAR on percussions, from Nepal with unique contemporary compositions creating a new form of soulful fusions grooves where Eastern and Western melodies meet to offer to the audience a rare musical journey.
