On December 6, 2024, Periwinkle Service had the honor of organizing Swisscontact's 30th anniversary celebration of the SeniorExpertContact (SEC) programme at Hotel Yak & Yeti. The event celebrated SEC's significant contributions to sustainable economic development and its role in fostering green, inclusive growth in Nepal’s tourism sector.

Her Excellency Dr. Danielle Meuwly, Swiss Ambassador to Nepal, inaugurated the event, which featured an insightful panel discussion on “Sustainable Tourism: Celebrating 30 Years of Senior Expert Contact.” The panel, moderated by Mr. Beni Lang, brought together prominent industry leaders including Mr. Khem Lakai, Ms. Ranu Shah, and Ms. Jen Lalchan. They shared valuable perspectives on SEC’s impact on promoting greener tourism and branding Nepal as a global green destination.
The event, attended by 100 guests, also showcased products from 10 partner stalls, emphasizing SEC's commitment to supporting local enterprises and sustainable practices.

This milestone celebration reinforced Swisscontact's continued dedication to driving Nepal’s sustainable development.

Celebrating 80 years of community empowerment! On September 21, 2024, we had the honor of organizing Heifer International Nepal’s "Passing on the Gift" ceremony in Kamalamai Municipality, Sindhuli. Eleven families were gifted first-born Holstein calves, continuing a legacy of support for Nepal’s farmers, especially women in the dairy sector.

The event was graced by Hon. Prakash Shrestha, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development (Bagmati Province), and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Mishra, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. Together, we are building a future of hope and progress for Nepal’s agricultural community!

"Nepal Tea Challenge 2024 at Chhaya Center, Thamel, brought top tea producers together for an exciting showcase and competition on Bhadra 11 (August 27). From premium brews to expert judging from Calcutta, the event highlighted Nepal's rich tea culture. Honored by Minister Ramnath Adhikari from Agriculture and Livestock Development, the day ended with a celebratory auction. Although not hosted by Periwinkle Services, their exceptional management ensured the event's success!"

The installation ceremony of DG Rajendra Man Sherchan for Rotary International District 3292 was organized by Rotary Nepal at the Hotel Soaltee on July 1st, 2024 with over 500 members from various districts and clubs all over Nepal in attendance.

With the theme - "Chasing the Classic Route to Everest Press Meet" conducted the event on 4th June 2024 (22 Jestha 2081), hosted by The North Face Nepal at Shanker Hotel.

A press meet to celebrate Rajesh Lama, affectionately known as Lama Dai, who has successfully summited Everest via the historic Classic Route pioneered by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. An iconic journey that honors the legacy of adventure and exploration!
