The DTN Workshop on Environmental Monitoring has officially begun at Prime College, jointly hosted by NREN, ICT4D & Prime College in collaboration with ICTP.

Bringing together more than 35 participants from Nepal and regional fellows from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and India, the workshop explores how DTN can enable resilient connectivity for remote sensing, disaster risk reduction, and climate monitoring.

Opening remarks highlighted by Dr. Vint Cerf (remote) and Dr. Mahabir Pun, emphasizing the power of connectivity for underserved regions.
Similarly, the workshop is being facilitated by ICTP resource persons, including Marco Zennaro, Samo Grasic, and Scott Burleigh, with support from local facilitators.
