Engineering ADDA Nepal is a company founded by a group of engineering students; currently at a startup stage and practicing various innovative programs in the field of education, health and sanitation for last 3 years. Since the year of establishment, Engineering ADDA Nepal has conducted many successful engineering workshops at various colleges of Kathmandu and encouraged other to participate to e
nhance the development of society through the local innovation. With the aim of using new technology and ideas to serve the hardest to reach and the most vulnerable communities, Engineering ADDA Nepal is working in various fields. PAANI is low a cost water testing and purification developed a year ago during a HACKATHON named childAPP organized by Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal, UNICEF Nepal and childreach Nepal to identify the common issues related to children and help solve these issues through technology .Later it was incubated at Idea Studio Nepal to implement it as a solution. Initially the “PAANI" was only a system with water testing hardware and visualization software that allows users to visualize the quality results of the water to verify the water is potable or not basically for the local consumers who are concerned about the safety regarding water borne diseases. The software is under development expanding it to further easier means and mediums for establishing the public labs that will encourage people to access only safe water to consume and isolate them from the contamination. The team is working with various designs to develop appropriate ways of water filtration system. We aim to excel our country forward through the means of Technology. Our vision is to create a technologically sound Nepal where Nepalese would be solving each other's problems through innovation.
