अबको २-३ दशक पछि high blood pressure, diabetes आदिले शरीरमा पार्ने प्रभाबको कारणले भन्दा डाक्टरले prescribe गरेको antibiotic ले काम नगरेर ज्यान जाने सम्भावना धेरै छ नेपालमा।

जथाभाबी antibiotic खानाले सामान्य bacteria हरुले (पहिले सजिलै नष्ट गर्न सकिने bacteria हरुले) समेत अधिकाम्श antibiotic संग जुध्न सक्ने खुबी बढाउँदै गएको छ।

त्यसैले
- रुघा लाग्ने बित्तिकै, खोकी लाग्ने बित्तिकै, घाँटी दुख्ने बित्तिकै वा पिनास हुने बित्तिकै antibiotic नखानुस्।

- डाक्टरले prescribe नगरिकन त antibiotic खाँदै नखानुस्। यदि डाक्टरले नै prescribe गरेको भए "के यो antibiotic खानै पर्ने हो? केहि दिन कुरेर हेर्न मिल्छ?" भनेर सोध्नुस। यदि तत्काल खानुपर्ने भए dose पुरै सक्नुस्। सन्चो भयो, सुधार भयो भनेर बिचमै नछोड्नुस। यदि अधकल्चो प्रयोग भयो भने ति बाँकिj bacteria उक्त antibiotic संग जुध्न सक्ने खुबी निर्माण गर्न सक्छन्।

- सामान्य bacteria माथि जथाभाबी antibiotic प्रयोग गरेर पछि ति bacteria झन् कठोर, उघ्र र हिंसक भएर निस्क्कने बाताबरण नबनाउनुस्।

बिरामीले आफै जान्ने भएर मनपरी Antibiotics खाँदा वा चिकित्सक/स्वास्थ्यकर्मीले अनावश्यक Antibiotics लेखिदिँदा वा Patient compliance भएन भने यस्तो Antibiotics Resistant जस्तो भयानक डरलाग्दो समस्या आउन सक्छ।
त्यसैले अनावश्यक Antibiotics को प्रयोग नगरौँ, नगराऔँ ।

Antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections. They should only be used when the doctor prescribes them. Buying and taking medicines without a prescription can reduce medicine effectiveness.
