Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Day 2: Drive to Birethati and Trek to Ulleri
We started the day at 8:30 am, leaving the peaceful lakeside of Pokhara and embarking on a scenic drive to Birethanti. The weather was sunny, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and terraced farmlands along the way.

At Birethanti (1,025m), we officially began our trek. The trail started gently, winding through charming villages, terrace and paddy field. After lunch at Tikhedhunga, the ascent became steeper, the real challenge came – a steep climb of over 3,000 stone steps up to Ulleri (2,050m). It was tough but rewarding, with the team pushing through with great energy and determination.

We reached Ulleri by 2 pm and checked into Superview Hotel, a comfortable spot with incredible panoramic view. Everyone’s excited for tomorrow as we continue deeper into the Annapurna region.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara, Explore Pokhara

The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek begins today! We started the day at 9 am in Kathmandu, drive to airport and quick flight to Pokhara.

The flight itself was a smooth 25-minute journey, with breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayas from the plane’s window. The excitement really began to set in as we landed in Pokhara.

Pokhara welcomed us with its peaceful ambiance and stunning lake views. After checking into Hotel Hidden Kingdom, a charming and comfortable spot nestled near the lakeside, we set off to explore the city.

At evening discuss about trek in brief and tomorrow's trek -truly begin our journey into the mountains. We rechecked our essentials, rest well, and prepare for the real adventure to start!

Day 8: Yak-Kharka to Throng-Phedi

Today’s trek from Yak-Kharka to Throng-Phedi was lively, as we gradually ascended through stunning landscapes dotted with juniper trees and rocky terrain. The air became crisper, reminding us of the altitude gain. We stopped for a brief rest at each scenic viewpoint, taking in the majestic Annapurna range.

After a steady climb, we arrived at Throng-Phedi, where the cozy tea houses welcomed us with warm smiles and steaming cups of tea. The ultimate goal of cross Thorong La is drawing close, and the excitement among the trekkers is palpable.
