Don't wait for the government to fix education. Choose programs that offer internships, co-op opportunities, and project-based practical learning. These experiences will shape your future and prepare you for a successful career. Your success depends on the skills you build, not on promises made by others. Every year, more than one hundred thousand students graduate without the practical skills needed to create opportunities for themselves or compete effectively in the job market in Nepal. Choose wisely and seek guidance only from genuine and trusted consultants. When you are globally qualified, you can create opportunities for yourself in Nepal and contribute meaningfully to the country's development.

IERIN organized a National Discussion and Interaction Program on Higher Education Opportunities and Challenges in Nepal and Abroad. The panelists, Mr. Ujjwal Satyal, Dr. Khagendra Acharya, Dr. Bhanu Kaushik, and Mr. Anup Shrestha, clearly explained how the quality of education in Nepal can be improved, the challenges the country is facing, and how education providers in the UK and Australia can help strengthen the sector.
Unfortunately, no officials from the Ministry of Education attended the discussion, despite the fact that IERIN members pay a significant amount of tax to the government every year. Reputable educational consultancies have made substantial contributions to government revenue, including paying the Ministry's renewal fee of Rs. 20,000. However, concerns remain regarding the effectiveness of monitoring and regulating organizations that engage in unethical practices. Instead of addressing the actions of a few non-compliant companies, all consultancies are often placed in the same category. Many stakeholders believe that stronger leadership, better governance, and more effective policies are needed to address the challenges facing Nepal's education sector.
