Nepal Development Initiative (NEDI), in collaboration with the Social Entrepreneurship Fund (SWC) and Good Shepherd International Foundation, successfully hosted a Social Enterprise Networking and Discussion Meeting bringing together social entrepreneurs, policymakers, and key stakeholders.

National Workshop on Civic Engagement for Responsible Business and NAP-B+HR Implementation took place on 9th December 2025. The event was organized in common soladarities with UNDP, B+HR, Youth Initiative, Nepal Development Initiative (NEDI) and NGO Federation of Nepal.
This workshop coincided with the observance of International Human Rights Day on 10th December and the 17th Magna Meet. The event foster engagement and discussion around the themes of responsible business practices and the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) for Business and Human Rights (B+HR).

What a weekend! Our hearts are full after a transformative day at Shree Shringery Secondary School! ❤️
On Saturday, the grounds of Shree Shringery Secondary School in Thakuri Gaun, Lalitpur, were buzzing with energy! In a wonderful collaboration with Nepal Development initiative VFS Global, and in coordination with Youth Initiative and Solid Waste Management Association led a 'Cleaning and Greening' drive that made a real difference.
Thanks to the hard work of over 120 incredible volunteers, we were able to give the school a major refresh! Classrooms are now bright and cheerful, new dustbins are in place to keep the School clean, and over 50 new saplings are taking root, promising a greener future. This amazing day directly benefited more than 350 students and 24 teachers, who now have a more inspiring environment for learning and teaching. The school's principal expressed deep gratitude, saying this support has made a significant difference they couldn't have achieved on their own.
