The Youths of Birgunj have demonstrated in support of Professor Dr. Govinda KC.

The youths staged a candlelight march in Birgunj on Thursday evening. The Candle March was organized to create pressure for the survival of Dr. Govinda KC, who is on hunger strike for the 19th time, demanding reforms in the health education sector.

A person has been arrested for cheating in the guise of a police inspector. Ajay Kumar Rai aged 29 from Bara Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolis-7 Chaudhary Tole has been arrested.

Demonstration has taken place after the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Birgunj Distribution Center took electricity tariff from the service recipients during the lockdown. A protest led by Janata Samajwadi Party Birgunj Metropolitan Chairman Ishwor Yadav took place in front of the gate of Electricity Authority Birgunj Distribution Center from 10 am to 1 am on Tuesday.

According to Asheem Man Singh Basnyat, Regional Director of Pathao Nepal, they are looking to roll out the Pathao Food by this Friday at the earliest. Currently, they are testing the app within its staff members to fine-tune the service. Also, the update will be first available to the early adopters of Pathao and will slowly roll out to all of the users.

Pathao aims to complete orders within 45 minutes and as of now, there will be dedicated delivery personnel for Pathao Food.

Dr. KC's health is deteriorating

Kathmandu: Doctors have pointed out that Dr. Govinda KC, who is on a hunger strike demanding health sector reform, may have to be admitted to the ICU at any time as his health condition is deteriorating. उनको मुटुको चालमा गडबडी देखिए वा संक्रमण भए स्थिति जोखिमपूर्ण हुने चिकित्सकहरूको भनाइ छ ।
