~ 𝐆𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚: 𝟐 𝟎 𝟖 𝟐 ~

A traditional annual festival celebrated in Gokarna, a small town located in the western part of Nepal. The festival is celebrated to honor the Hindu god Bhairab, Ganesh and Pakna Dya. During the festival, a chariot carrying the idol of Kanti Bhairab is pulled through the streets of the town by devotees. The festival also features a number of cultural and religious activities, including traditional dances, music performances, and processions.

~ Vajrayogini(बज्रयोगिनी) Ugra-Tara Jatra | Sankhu ~

Sankhu also known as Sakwa is an ancient town predominated by Newars. Bajrayogini Jatra at Sankhu is celebrated every year in the month of Chaitra/Baishak for eight-long days where the idols of the Gods from the Bajrayogini temple are brought down in unique way to the town and carried around the entire town.

Priests accompany the idols of the two big idols Mhasukhwamaju (yellow-faced goddess) and Chibadya (the chaitya/stupa shaped idol – husband of Mhasukhwamaju) while two small idols of their children Singli (lioness) and Byangli (tigress) are carried in smaller chariots by the children of the community.

~ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐮 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐎𝐊𝐇𝐀 ~

Chaku is a traditional Nepali delicacy that is associated with the Maghe Sankranti festival. Maghe Sankranti is the celebration of Sun God. It is celebrated on the first of Magh month of the Bikram Sambat Calendar. Certain individuals call Maghe Sangranti as the gheu chaku tarul eating day. It is accepted that eating food things like Ghee, Chaku, Spinich and Sweet potato assists us with becoming better and hotter during the chilly climate. The most well known creation plant of chakhu is situated at Tokha. Tokha is known for gifted chaku creators have been making these practice for ages.

~ 𝐘𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐡𝐢 ~

Indra Jātrā, also known as Yenya Punhi is the biggest religious street festival in Kathmandu, Nepal. "Ye" means the old Newari name for "Kathmandu", "Ya" means "Celebration", and "Puhni" means full moon so together means the birthday of the old city of Kathmandu. The celebrations consist of two events, Indra Jātrā and Kumāri Jātrā. Indra Jātrā is marked by masked dances of deities and demons, displays of sacred images, and tableaus in honor of the deity Indra, the king of heaven. Kumāri Jātrā is the chariot procession of the living goddess Kumari.
