After reaching the top of Everest, the team continued on with strong determination and safely stood on the summit of Lhotse this morning. ⛰️💪

A double summit like this is never easy. The body is already exhausted after Everest, and every step above the South Col demands focus, experience, and teamwork. This achievement reflects the strength of the climbers and the incredible effort of the entire Sherpa team supporting the climb. 🙏🔥

Summit Force Everest Update:

Our guides are once again making their way up toward Camp 2 for the third rotation, showing incredible dedication and resilience. Continuous efforts are underway to establish our camp as soon as possible.

Progress is steady, and the team remains focused despite the challenges. Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to our goal.

Summit Force Update – Everest Expedition

Our team of 13 experienced guides is en route to Camp 2 tonight to carry out a critical logistics drop and assess the route conditions. This important step ensures a safer and more efficient passage for our expedition members in the coming days.

Good Morning & Good News: Khumbu Icefall Route Opened 🏔️

We would like to confirm that, as of 28 April 2026, the Khumbu Icefall route is officially open, with the fixing team successfully reaching Camp I today. The route has been fully established with ladders, ropes, and anchors through the Icefall, thanks to the exceptional hard work of the SPCC Icefall Doctors, with strong coordination and support from the Expedition Operators Association of Nepal (EOAN) and various handling agencies. We deeply appreciate their effort in such a challenging and technical section of the mountain.

With this critical section now secured, rotations to Camp I will begin shortly for more than 400 climbers this season who are currently waiting at Everest Base Camp for Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse, along with a large number of Sherpa support teams preparing for summit pushes.

This breakthrough sets a strong and safe foundation for the Everest 2026 climbing season.
