Visited the Bozdağ Film studios in Istanbul which lies in the Asian part of the city. It is the shooting spot for popular Turkish TV Series such as Diriliş Ertuğrul and Kuruluş Osman
We had the opportunity to look at the shooting set, met some actors, visiting the places and castles where they shoot the historical scenes. They also arranged a acrobatic horseriding display for us!

রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ ইরশাদ করেছেন:
“অবশ্যই তোমরা কনস্টান্টিনোপল জয় করবে। সেই সেনাপতি কতই না উত্তম, আর সেই সেনাবাহিনী কতই না উত্তম!”
১৪৫৩ সালে এই মহা ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী পূর্ণ হয় মহান সুলতান মেহমেদ ফাতিহ (রহ.)-এর নেতৃত্বে।
কনস্টান্টিনোপল ছিল বাইজেন্টাইন সাম্রাজ্যের রাজধানী, যেখানে হায়া সোফিয়া প্রথমে একটি গির্জা হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। বিজয়ের পর সুলতান ফাতিহ এটিকে মসজিদে রূপান্তর করেন, যা ইসলামের গৌরবময় ইতিহাসে নতুন অধ্যায়ের সূচনা করে।
আজও হায়া সোফিয়া দাঁড়িয়ে আছে সেই বিজয়ের মহিমা, সাহস, মর্যাদা ও গৌরবের এক অমর নিদর্শন হিসেবে।
সুলতান মেহমেদ ফাতিহের নেতৃত্বে কনস্টান্টিনোপল রূপান্তরিত হয়েছিল ইস্তানবুলে— আর হায়া সোফিয়া সেই গৌরবময় ইতিহাসের জীবন্ত সাক্ষী।

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Verily, you shall conquer Constantinople. What a wonderful leader will he be, and what a wonderful army will that army be!”
This divine prophecy came true in 1453, under the leadership of the great Sultan Mehmed al-Fatih.
Constantinople was the capital of the Byzantine Empire, and Hagia Sophia was originally built as a grand church. After the conquest, Sultan Mehmed converted it into a mosque — marking the beginning of a new glorious chapter in Islamic history.
Today, Hagia Sophia still stands as a timeless testament to that victory — a symbol of history, courage, honor, and glory.
Under Sultan Mehmed al-Fatih, Constantinople was transformed into Istanbul, with Hagia Sophia as the eternal witness of that legacy.

I had the chance to explore Oslo and experience some of its most iconic places. The Royal Palace stands with timeless elegance at the heart of the city, reflecting Norway’s history and tradition. The harbor area offers a vibrant atmosphere with modern architecture, waterfront views, and a sense of life by the fjord. I also spent time at the famous sculpture garden, where art and nature come together in a truly unique way.
Oslo feels like a city where history, culture, and modern life blend seamlessly. It was a memorable visit, full of beauty and inspiration.
অসলো শহর ঘুরে দেখার অভিজ্ঞতা সত্যিই অসাধারণ ছিল। নরওয়ের রাজধানী হিসেবে অসলো শুধু প্রশাসনিক কেন্দ্রই নয়, বরং ইতিহাস, সংস্কৃতি, প্রকৃতি আর আধুনিকতার এক চমৎকার মিশেল।
আমার যাত্রা শুরু হয়েছিল রাজপ্রাসাদ ঘুরে দেখার মাধ্যমে। শহরের একেবারে কেন্দ্রে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা এই প্রাসাদটি নরওয়ের রাজপরিবারের ইতিহাস আর ঐতিহ্যের সাক্ষী। প্রাসাদের চারপাশের সবুজ উদ্যান, নিস্তব্ধতা আর স্থাপত্যশৈলী যেন আমাকে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল অন্য এক সময়ে।
এরপর আমি ঘুরলাম বন্দরের দিকে। অসলো বন্দর এলাকা একেবারেই প্রাণবন্ত। এখানে আধুনিক স্থাপত্য, সুন্দর রেস্টুরেন্ট আর ফিয়র্ডের শান্ত জল একে অপরকে পরিপূর্ণ করে তুলেছে। সাগরের বাতাসে দাঁড়িয়ে মনে হচ্ছিল শহরের স্পন্দন যেন প্রকৃতির সাথেই মিশে আছে।
সবচেয়ে অনন্য লেগেছে ভাস্কর্য উদ্যান। এখানে শিল্প আর প্রকৃতি মিলে সৃষ্টি করেছে এক অনন্য আবহ। প্রতিটি ভাস্কর্য মানুষের জীবনের ভিন্ন ভিন্ন দিককে উপস্থাপন করে, যা দর্শককে গভীরভাবে ভাবতে বাধ্য করে। হাঁটতে হাঁটতে মনে হচ্ছিল আমি যেন শুধু ভাস্কর্য দেখছি না, বরং মানব জীবনের গল্প শুনছি।
অসলো আমাকে শিখিয়েছে, একটি শহর একই সাথে কীভাবে ইতিহাসকে ধারণ করতে পারে, সংস্কৃতিকে লালন করতে পারে, আর আধুনিকতাকে আলিঙ্গন করতে পারে। এই শহরের প্রতিটি কোণেই আছে সৌন্দর্য, প্রতিটি মুহূর্তেই আছে অনুপ্রেরণা।
এ ভ্রমণ আমার মনে গেঁথে থাকবে দীর্ঘদিন। অসলো আমার কাছে শুধু একটি শহর নয়, বরং ইতিহাস, প্রকৃতি আর সংস্কৃতির এক অনন্য অভিজ্ঞতা।

I am visiting the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. NTNU has a long history that dates back to the establishment of the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1910, which later became part of NTNU in 1996. Over the years, it has grown into Norway’s largest university and a leading European institution, especially strong in science, technology, engineering, and innovation.
Today, NTNU is internationally recognized for its cutting-edge research and global collaborations. It ranks among the top universities in the world for technology and engineering, and it continues to make an impact in areas such as artificial intelligence, computer science, renewable energy, and sustainable solutions.
For me, this visit is special on a personal level. I was once accepted to pursue a master’s program at NTNU, and being here now allows me to connect that milestone in my journey with the broader legacy and vision of this university. Seeing the campus and its atmosphere of innovation gives me a deeper appreciation for NTNU’s role in shaping the future of science and technology, both in Norway and worldwide.

Excited to share some great news from Norway!
Our paper, “Unlocking Optimal ORM Database Designs: Accelerated Tradeoff Analysis with Transformers”, was accepted and presented at the ACM International Conference on the Foundations of Software Engineering (FSE 2025) — one of the premier venues for software engineering research.
This work introduces DesignTradeoffSculptor, a Transformer-powered tool suite that makes ORM design tradeoff analysis both efficient and scalable. By combining formal methods with deep learning, our approach reduces analysis time from 15 days to just 18 minutes while uncovering designs often missed by state-of-practice tools.
I had the privilege of presenting the paper in person on behalf of University of Nebraska-Lincoln - Nebraska School of Computing and also serving as part of the student volunteering committee. Beyond FSE, I also attended ISSTA 2025 (ACM SIGSOFT International Symposium on Software Testing and Analysis
), gaining invaluable exposure to cutting-edge research and connecting with amazing researchers worldwide.

সকালের ঠাণ্ডা বাতাসে ঘুম ভাঙতেই জানালা খুলে তাকালাম—চারপাশটা যেন একেবারে রূপকথার মতো। ট্রন্ডহাইমের শান্ত রাস্তা, পাশে নদী আর দূরে ছোট ছোট কাঠের রঙিন ঘরগুলো যেন জীবন্ত হয়ে উঠেছে। মনে হচ্ছিল শহরটা নিঃশব্দে আমাকে স্বাগত জানাচ্ছে।
প্রথমেই বেরিয়ে পড়লাম এক ছোট্ট ক্যাফেতে। গরম কফির কাপে ধোঁয়া উঠছিল, আর জানালা দিয়ে তাকিয়ে দেখছিলাম নদীর ওপর ভেসে থাকা কাঠের পুরনো ঘরগুলো। শহরটা যেন সময়কে অনেক বছর আগে আটকে রেখেছে—ক্লান্তি নেই, তাড়া নেই, শুধু প্রশান্তি।
এরপর গেলাম বিখ্যাত Nidaros Cathedral-এ। হাজার বছরের পুরনো এই গির্জার দরজা পেরিয়ে ভেতরে ঢুকতেই মনে হলো ইতিহাস যেন ফিসফিস করে গল্প শোনাচ্ছে। উঁচু দেয়াল, রঙিন কাঁচের জানালা আর নিস্তব্ধ পরিবেশে দাঁড়িয়ে মনে হচ্ছিল আমি একেবারেই অন্য এক সময়ে চলে গেছি।
বিকেলে হাঁটতে হাঁটতে চলে গেলাম নদীর ধারে। সূর্যের আলো পানির ওপর সোনালী আভা ফেলছিল, আর পাশে ছোট ছোট কাঠের ঘরগুলো যেন ছবির মতো সাজানো। অনেকক্ষণ সেখানেই বসে রইলাম, শুধু নদীর শব্দ আর হালকা বাতাসে হারিয়ে গেলাম।
🍴 রাতের খাবারের সময় স্থানীয় এক রেস্টুরেন্টে গেলাম। সীফুডের স্বাদ এতটাই তাজা আর ভিন্ন ছিল যে মনে হচ্ছিল সমুদ্রের আসল স্বাদ আমি প্রথমবার পেলাম। খাবারের সঙ্গে শহরের উষ্ণ আতিথেয়তা আমাকে ভ্রমণটাকে আরও স্মরণীয় করে তুলল।
আর সবচেয়ে বড় অভিজ্ঞতা ছিল আকাশের দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকা। ভাগ্য ভালো থাকলে এখান থেকে দেখা যায় নর্দার্ন লাইটস – আকাশজুড়ে রঙিন আলোর নৃত্য। সেদিন রাতের আকাশটা ছিল সত্যিই জাদুকরী।
পুরো ভ্রমণ শেষে বুঝলাম, ট্রন্ডহাইম শুধু একটা শহর নয়, এটা একটা অনুভূতি। এখানে ইতিহাস, প্রকৃতি আর আধুনিকতার এমন এক মিশেল আছে, যা মনে সারাজীবনের মতো দাগ কেটে যায়।
তাই বলবো, নরওয়ে ভ্রমণে গেলে অবশ্যই ট্রন্ডহাইমকে তালিকায় রাখুন। কারণ এই শহরটা আপনাকে শুধু ভ্রমণ নয়, এক টুকরো গল্প উপহার দেবে।

Visited Kristiansten Fortress in Trondheim, Norway! Built in the late 17th century after a great fire destroyed much of the city, this fortress played a crucial role in defending Trondheim from invasions. Its sturdy walls and strategic hilltop location offer not only a glimpse into Norway’s military history but also breathtaking views of the city below. A truly fascinating place where history meets beauty!
