🌊That’s a wrap! A final look at some materials and branding for AquaVision 2026, that took place this week in Stavanger, Norway. It was fantastic to work on this project for the third consecutive edition, and to collaborate closely with the Global Skretting comms team to create both the event branding and social media content to spread the word.

One of my favorite types of event content is the kind that provides real value.

For AquaVision, instead of creating another promotional post, I designed a practical attendee checklist, combining essential event information, helpful reminders, and a touch of local context (including Stavanger’s famously unpredictable weather).

💡The goal: make the information easy to find, easy to save, and genuinely useful.

✨One thing I really appreciate about Reflections on Courage by Future Leaders 2026 is the many ways it can be experienced. You can read the full publication as a PDF, explore the articles individually on the ONS website, or swipe through the content in a more visual format.

A special shout-out to the ONS communications team for taking the publication file and making it accessible across different formats, helping these important reflections reach even more readers.

⭐️Some projects are especially enjoyable to work on, and this one has been one of them.

This publication is part of the Future Leaders project, a collaboration between ONS and Vår Energi. It brings together perspectives from emerging voices in the energy sector: future leaders who are willing to ask difficult questions, challenge assumptions, and imagine what the future could look like.

👉My role has been to design the layout and curate the photography, shaping a visual experience that supports and elevates these reflections. I always enjoy projects where design helps create space for important stories, and this publication offered plenty of opportunities to do just that.

It’s been such a pleasure to work on a publication that celebrates curiosity, leadership, and fresh thinking. Read all the reflections at ons.no

💡This is a trick that is often used in Ted Talks but you can also use it in meetings, wedding speeches, conference talks and even video scripts.

🙈Love it or hate it, James Clear said it best: “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” Having great systems to plan, schedule and post content for your brand or business might sound boring, but it can be a life saver when it comes to creating content that’s aligned, effective and on brand. After all, brands that post regularly tend to be rewarded by the algorithm, and having to start from scratch every week, coming up with ideas and concepts for campaigns is not only a time consuming nightmare, but also a costly one. Swipe to learn what to look for to start your some strategy 👏 and reach out if you need help building your social media compass!

💻One of the most important parts of my work is finding the right visual language for a project. Sometimes, that means designing from scratch, and other times it means searching for the one image that captures the feeling, direction, and ambition behind an idea.

For AquaVision’s theme “Beyond Tomorrow”, the goal was to find an image that reflected more than just technology or “the future.” It needed to feel human, evolving, and slightly unknown; something that matched the conversations happening at the upcoming event.

The chose image stood out because it sits somewhere between organic and digital. It reflects transformation, complexity, innovation, and the pace of change shaping aquaculture and food systems today.

A lot of creative direction happens long before layouts, motion, or stage design. Sometimes it starts with finding a single image that sets the tone for everything that follows.
