🎇 Claire, Antony, Genevieve and Dylan travelled from the UK to Fjord Norway to ring in 2026 together. ❤

🏞 "One of our favourite parts of the trip was the train journey between Oslo and Myrdal, which took us through picturesque scenery of snow-capped mountains and frozen forests. It was the epitome of serene – apart from the squeals of excitement when it started to snow!

🎊 "We spent New Year's Eve at the hotel in Flåm, surrounded by Christmas lights, drinking a few too many hot chocolates and laughing until our cheeks hurt. Later that night we boarded a New Year’s fjord cruise, singing our hearts out to the ‘Dirty Dancing’ soundtrack, before braving the cold to welcome in the New Year from the top deck of the boat and watch fireworks all along the fjord".

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were amazed at the intensity of the Northern Lights displays, even from our igloo! Riding with the huskies was perhaps our favourite experience and the dogs were so friendly, but the snowmobile safari through the backwoods was a close second. We’ve since developed a new appreciation for what you can experience in the sub-zero temperatures of the Arctic winter, even outside of seeing the Northern Lights! "

✈ Lee & Maree from New Zealand set off on our Finnish Lapland, Hurtigruten & Fjords tour in January 2025. The itinerary included Helsinki, Finnish and Swedish Lapland, a Norwegian coastal voyage with Hurtigruten and the Norwegian fjords.

🦌 To make the most of their time in the region, they customised the trip with an extra night in Helsinki; a day cruise to Tallinn, Estonia; winter activities, including snowshoeing, dog sledding and snowmobiling; a visit to the Snow Resort in Kirkenes; a Hurtigruten excursion to Vesterålen; and a Stegastein viewpoint tour in Aurland (whew! 😅).

A journey filled with wonder ✨

In 2025, Authentic Scandinavian traveller Miriam and her family from Italy embarked on a self-guided journey through Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki and Tallinn, discovering breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities and unforgettable moments together.

"This trip was a gift to my mom and my family. My mom had always dreamt of discovering the Nordic countries, and as soon as we arrived, it became crystal clear why. The level of society, culture, well-being and the incredible natural landscapes make them unique in the world.
