The worlds darts final. Two professional darts players trying to keep their cool, 3,000 crazy dancing singing supports right behind them and 1.7 million watching on TV across the world.
Commentator John Part (3 times world champion) discussing the importance of trusting the talent, emptying the head for potential situations. It's possible to see one of the players,Lewis, talking to himself (who is really talking to who?) at various times. He doesn't look comfortable and many commentators agree he has a great natural talent.
This is how we begin mental training with anybody wanting to boost their performance. Quieten the mind, empty the head. Learn to let ideas move along. Learn to be. Trust your talent, trust your training.
