🗓️ Predio’s expectations for real estate development in 2026
All preparations for the next year are in order, and while we’re still on holidays we can discuss our predictions and expectations for the next year.
⁉️ Why 2026 is critically important for developers and clients?
Basically, in 2026 we anticipate a significant turnaround in the housing market, particularly in Oslo. For developers and investors, making the right strategic moves now will determine success in the coming years.
🟢 Price growth
According to recent Socioeconomic Analysis, prices are forecast to rise strongly, potentially climbing by up to 19.7% in the period from 2026 to 2028.
🟢 Construction Upturn
We are on the brink of a housing construction boom (or at least a certain rise). Generally, the global economic situation is not at its best, but home sales have seen a 6% uplift, and Norway is expecting further market improvement.
🟢 Shifts in investment strategy
Relatively small projects with short development cycles are expected to become beneficial investment assets, so pay attention to densification and rehabilitation projects. We’re gladly working with existing infrastructure and focusing on proven products and partnerships to provide value for both communities and clients.

We present the case study and consulting project of repurposing the multi-functional building. The main goal of the project is to transform existing parking garage into new office spaces and create business potential within existing infrastructure.

White is one of the core colours of Scandinavian architecture and interior design. But there is a lot of heated discussions after introduction of Cloud Dancer as the colour of year 2026.

White can be paired with sophisticated, high-quality materials so the white walls act as a gallery, drawing attention to the expensive finishes that justify the investment.
⚪️ Varied Hues:
Never using a single, cold white. Instead, incorporating a thoughtful mix of warm whites, off-whites, and slightly tinted greys to add subtle depth and warmth without sacrificing brightness (this is where Cloud Dancer can shine and has its star moment).
⚪️ Architectural Framing:
Using contrasting colours (black, dark grey) for window frames, door trims, and baseboards to “frame” the white walls, turning the simplicity into a deliberate, high-contrast, and dynamic visual statement.
