This week I kickstarted a project sponsored by DNB Stiftelsen in collaboration with Nitja center for contemporary art and Volla school✨✂️ Over a three-month period the 7th graders at Volla school will  get to know the design subject and take part in my  working method. Last week  they got an insight into my career, and learned that, among other things, that I draw with my non-dominant hand to create that hand-rendered and naive look.✍🏼

As part of the scheme, the three classes will work on moodboards, develop design ideas, sew and draw creations and then take pictures of their own work on their classmates. Thrreafter there will be an exhibition that will be shown in Nitja's project room during the EDDA exhibition in Nitja in the spring of 2023. The scheme has been developed by me, teacher Ingebeth Melhus and Rikke Komissar. A huge thank you to the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB for supporting the partnership with Volla school!❤️❤️❤️

This is one of my favourite prints from my EDDA by InHouse collaboration💜 A fresh and lush floral design that captures the room.🌼Fresh and energetic color choices and intricate details that come into their own✏️💚

Combine the flower printed design rug with Sunniva, a range of solid coloured rugs that compliment the designs. Here is EDDA carved into the carpet, an extra playful detail that is in line with EDDA's design universe.💚

- I wanted to create my version of the classic leopard print with a focus on the organic, playful and imperfect DNA of EDDA.

This design is named Copenhagen and has a warm brown tone as the base colour, and details in both black, white, beige and grey, in addition to accent of strong green and purple.

So excited to show you my second design rugs collaboration I have been working on with
💙💚💜

The collaboration will go on sale in stores from November 2022, and are available now to order from selected InHouse dealers in Norway. The rugs are hand tufted/woven in New Zealand wool and/or Tencel.
