Earth to Earth cocktails with Eco-Straws in honour of being served at the Daniel Wellington one year anniversary party last week. Another inspired cocktail from Kung-Fu Izakaya in Copenhagen this drink is a light aperitif perfect for stimulating the appetite before sushi and dumpling tapas. We've muddled cucumber with Sake and shaken it up with thyme and ginger infusions for a light and spicy sour drink.

The philosophy behind this drink is everything from the Earth is returned to the Earth which is why the are a natural way to sip on this beverage. Completely biodegradable these straws will be completely returned to the Earth in less than a year without poisoning our planet and eachother. They are also made with 100% recycled plastic, thank you

Serving Shiso Mojitos at the "ⱭW" Daniel Wellington one year anniversary party last night was an honour with Janka and .

This is my own version inspired from working at Kung Fu Izakaya in Copenhagen over 5 years ago and it was a perfect match to the sushi and Asian tapas served for this fantastic event. This mojito is shaken to achieve the perfect dilution rather than using crushed ice, which in this case was essential to preserve the ⱭW branded ice cubes (yes, the D is supposed to be backwards;) With a drink this pristine I wouldn't use anything other than soda water from Three Cents to lengthen those spice flavours. The high pressure carbonation offers a much more gratifying effervescence to the cocktail, particularly when so little is to be used. You can get your mits on it here in Oslo through

I nominate my fellow Performance Bartender Håvard Bakken to help save the roadhouse. Make a drink, do a trick (don't forget the fish move!) and nominate more bartenders. Don't forget to sign the petition.

The Roadhouse is too Awesome to let it be anything else. Even if the only competition I ever won there was the lip sync battle (Druken Axl Rose took the house down that night Petter Bergstrand Dinal De Silva Julian Hulbert) The flair bartending competitions and community created at the Road House is nothing less than a family. And you wouldn't want to be a home wrecker, would you? Sign the Petition and SAVE THE ROADHOUSE!!!
