A leader who does not understand their power cannot use it well.

This week’s Diversify Summit newsletter is about emotional literacy, leadership, and the gap between knowing the language of good leadership and actually practicing it.

The questions shaping our workplaces, technology, climate and public health are deeply interconnected. Responding to them requires different perspectives, sectors and generations to come together.

On 23 November in Oslo, Diversify Summit 2026 brings together exactly that. Now in its fifth year, the Summit convenes a cross-sector room of C-suite leaders, policymakers, funders, innovators, tech innovators, and healthcare practitioners across business, government, philanthropy and civil society.

Partnering with us means more than brand visibility for a day.

As a partner, your organisation becomes part of a year-round community platform with curated programming, continuous learning and meaningful cross-sector connections.

It is a strategic opportunity to position your organisation within the conversations shaping the future of workplace, public health, climate and technology.

It is a chance to build relationships with decision-makers, and engage with a community designed for learning, collaboration and action.

Want to explore a partnership with us? Send us an email at [email protected]. We would love to speak with you.

What happens when you join Ascent?

You do not just attend sessions and listen. You work on your own next step.

That might mean updating your CV. Writing applications. Improving your LinkedIn profile. Preparing for interviews. Exploring education options. Understanding how to present your experience in Norway. Or simply getting clearer about what direction makes sense now.

At the heart of Ascent is peer co-working: structured, facilitated sessions where participants set a goal, work with focus, ask questions, receive support and leave with a concrete next step.

Because sometimes the hardest part is not knowing what to do. It is finding the structure, confidence and community to keep doing it.

Ascent is a free peer community for women, particularly women from immigrant and marginalised backgrounds, who are working toward employment, education or a career transition in Norway.

This month’s newsletter begins with Disability Pride Month, and a reminder that access, dignity and participation cannot be afterthoughts. They have to be part of how we build organisations, communities and futures from the beginning.

We also share updates on what is coming up at Diversify.

06/07/2026

The future is not being shaped in one sector, one discipline or one room. It is being shaped at the intersections.

This year’s thematic areas for Diversify Summit 2026 are: workplace, technology, climate and public health.

Technology is changing the way we work, lead, create and connect.

The workplace is one of the places where society meets every day: across identities, cultures, generations, language, power and lived experience.

Climate invites new ways of thinking about responsibility, design, collaboration and the future we are building.

Public health reminds us that care, wellbeing and access are part of how societies thrive.

So the Diversify Summit 2026 is bringing these thematic areas together under one defining question:

NOW WHAT?
Repair. Reimagine. Recreate.

Join us in Oslo on 23 November 2026 for Diversify Summit 2026.

Over the years, through Diversify’s programmes, events, mentorship initiatives, community spaces and conversations with women across Oslo, one thing has become very clear:

Finding a job, returning to work or figuring out your next step in a new system is hard enough. Doing it alone, without structure, community or people to ask along the way, can make the process feel even more isolating.

That is why we are launching Ascent: A Peer Community for Women.

Ascent is designed for women, particularly women from immigrant and marginalised backgrounds, who are working toward employment, education or a career transition in Norway.

Ascent is supported by the Oslo Kommune.

One of the main components of Ascent is Peer co-working - Structured sessions where you work on real next steps, CVs, applications, LinkedIn profiles, education options, interview preparation and career planning, alongside women navigating similar situations.

Ascent also includes Professional Development Workshops, which are practical, facilitator-led sessions on topics like CVs, LinkedIn, AI tools, and the hiring process.

Another component of Ascent is Group Mentoring, small group sessions with people who know Norwegian working life from the inside.

Ascent is a space to show up, work on your goals, ask questions, receive guidance, build momentum and move forward alongside other women navigating similar situations. Because community is not a soft extra. It is infrastructure.
