Credo Partners has since 2003 developed businesses in demanding situations, and is established as the leading private equity firm in Norway for small and medium sized companies. We focus on businesses with substantial value creation potential and revenues between 100 and 500 million NOK. Our investment philosophy and value creation approach are

tailored to the opportunities and challenges small and medium sized companies typically face. Many companies in Norway and the Nordics have strong market positions in attractive niche segments, but lack the experience and resources to develop into larger and professional business systems. Credo works together with founders and family owners to realize the underlying potential in these businesses. Using our well-established model, we create value by setting high and focused goals, building scalable business systems and organizations, and ensuring effective corporate governance. In small and medium sized companies, key individuals are critical to the company’s success, and value creation requires close long term cooperation between management, the board of directors and the owners. Credo’s investments are therefore based on real partnerships with management and former owners, and we encourage our partners to retain large minority ownership stakes in our portfolio companies. Credo is an active majority owner, and contributes with the experience and resources small and medium sized companies need in order to become large and profitable companies. Always in close dialogue with our partners, we develop goals and strategies for each individual portfolio company. Direct investment in private equity

Our investors can invest directly into each of our investment cases – rather than through fund and fund of fund structures. Credo is backed by a broad group of individual investors with relevant industrial expertise and networks. The Credo team always invests personal funds in each portfolio company. Each investment is structured independently of all other investments, and each portfolio company is developed according to its own tailored strategy, situation and opportunities. Our investments are not part of any fund, and each investment has its own investment horizon. Credo Partners is authorized to manage alternative investment funds by The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway in accordance with the Act on Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFM). Credo’s investment team has significant experience from industry and finance, and we specialize in driving value creation for small and medium sized companies. Beyond Credo’s own team, we have access to a large network of industrial advisors with significant operational experience from top management positions. These industrial advisors contribute with their expertise as board members and sparring partners for management. Having Credo as an owner gives management access to experience, competence and resources other small and medium sized companies lack. This can often be of critical importance for the company’s success in challenging development stages, such as generational changes, international expansion, mergers & acquisitions or strategic repositioning.
