Summer in Oslo, 2019

Revisiting some old photos I took 2 years ago. Summer had just started but the weather (and water!) was still pretty cold. These young boys were enjoying the first sunny days of summer by jumping in the *still* freezing water. They were showing off, really -- as the tourists gasped and awed at how brave they were for swimming in such cold conditions.
They simply smiled at the tourists and jumped in while screaming, "We are norwegians!!" 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴

The weather was really nice today, so we decided to go for a walk at Sognsvann. Our trip ended earlier than planned because Anja stepped on poo and we didn't notice. She ended up smearing it all over my pants when I picked her up. 🤦

If you are a dog owner, don't be an as***le --- pick up your dog's s**t!

Oh well, at least I got a picture of this helicopter. 🤷

Photo taken yesterday.

Typical dinner time set up. She has been eating with us ever since we bought this dining table (about 2 months ago). We keep an eye on her but at the same time, leave her free to explore the different tastes and textures of the food. She usually throws a few pieces (or a lot) onto the floor --- we are working on that. She seems to be getting it a little bit now, though.

"Food belongs on the table." Is what we tell her gently. And that is why you see a lonely meatball in the photograph.
