My new opera libretto for composer Marcus Paus - "Firestarter" - about how middle-aged working class women were burned at the stake for allegedly starting the Great Oslo City Fire of 1624,. Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose, my friends.
Premiere 27th September, 2024 during the Opera Til Folket (Opera for the People) festival; mulitiple composers, librettists and locations.
