Language lives everywhere. Also in the forest. When you are required by law to undergo a 15-hour course in Norwegian in the Norwegian woods to be able to work with a chain saw on the Norwegian soil, then you do not call Ghostbusters, you call ExportLane to help you out! :) This was a pretty fun project but at times wind was just unbelievable and left everyone speechless. Check out the video!

The end of March 2017 marks something very special for us – not only is the weekend coming up, but it is also our 4-year anniversary! Not so young anymore, not very old yet, but definitely still learning every day. What we are, however, the happiest about is not the age of the company but the fact that some of our customers from the very beginning are still with us today. We feel truly blessed and at the same time excited for the new projects coming up this year. Stay tuned to find out what our next project will entail!

It has been a productive day conducting video interviews with wonderful musicians in Norway who all have an international background. ExportLane in cooperation with In Living Colour Media and Laverne Wyatt hopes that the experiences recorded today will help other great global musicians in Norway in their careers. Thank you Ombeline Chardes, Wei Ting Zeng, Safaa Al-Saadi & Rachael Elizabeth Brand for your insights and great vibes! Check out In Living Colour Media in the weeks to come for more information on the project!

We started working on the "Sentral Godkjenning" application for Finnlog Norge in January 2017 and it is a great pleasure to announce now that after almost 3 months of facilitation, we finally got the good news – Finnlog received their central building approval in all areas that we applied for! We are extremely happy to see our customer doing well and wish them best of luck with their new building projects in Norway!

Yesterday’s MAK event "Perspectives on Technology and Leadership” was truly inspiring and somewhat eerie as well. Three business leaders Kimberly Lein-Mathisen, the CEO of Microsoft Norway, Jan Grønbech, the Country Director of Google Norway, and Silvija Seres, the President of Norwegian Polytechnic Society shared their thoughts and insights on how the future might look like for us and our children. Here are some of the snippets:

• In the future, children will be most likely experiencing a bigger technological change in a month than our parents in their lifetimes.

• Lifelong learning will become a norm and it will be more important than ever to be able to “learn to learn”.

• Leaders and managers of tomorrow must find a balance between Control & Creativity. Much of what is required of the traditional management today will still be relevant; however, creativity and innovation at the edge (instead of at the core) will be an absolute requirement too.

• Diversity of experiences and perspectives is what the teams must have at their disposal for them to be in the winning game.

• There are much larger cultural shifts rather than technological shifts that await us.

KERLI – “Spirit Animal” / EESTI LAUL 2017 FINAAL 05/03/2017

There is an Estonian artist with that X-factor that we think should really be considered as an "ear-candy" for music lovers, especially in Japan. We see a huge potential in her when it comes to seducing large crowds through music and visual landscapes, but she is also an incredible Estonian Brand Ambassador, always staying true to herself and her beliefs, no matter how tough life gets. Wishing KERLI lots of success! P.S Would love to hear the "Spirit Animal" song as the soundtrack to some cool Japanese anime! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0zWvGBAKW4

3 months in South Africa flew by faster than one can blink. Project was delivered on time and it was sad to leave. However, now back in Oslo again, it was recently heartwarming to see Estonian architects represented physically in the garden of the Royal Palace in Oslo. Wonderful KOKO Architects have made new cabins for all the outdoorsies in Norway. The Norwegian Tourist Association has made these ultramodern cabins accessible for the travellers from all around the world who would like to explore Norwegian nature! Thumbs up to KOKO from us! Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa! Today is Mandela Day and we hope many of you are inspiring change! Weeks have flown by at the speed of light and a lot of work has been done but the bulk of it is still under way. Consulting the well-established social enterprise Shonaquip has so far been interesting and exciting.

Shonaquip together with the Uhambo Foundation helps to improve the quality of life of individuals living with moderate to severe disabilities by manufacturing wheelchairs, mobility equipment and providing support services. We are busy working on a business model for Shonaquip's newest product concept and are ready to be challenged! http://shonaquip.co.za/
