Servogear, part of BOS Power, will deliver a hybrid CPP propulsion system for a new 39-meter sightseeing catamaran built by Oma Baatbyggeri.

The solution combines Servogear technology with mtu engines from BOS Power Norway - improving efficiency, comfort, and reducing emissions.

A great example of how hybrid solutions are shaping the future of maritime operations.

Servogear to deliver hybrid CPP system for 39m catamaran Servogear to deliver a hybrid CPP propulsion system for a 39m catamaran, enhancing efficiency and reducing environmental impact. Delivery is scheduled for April 2027.

We are proud to share that BOS Power Norway has been awarded the contract to deliver the uninterruptible emergency power solution (DRUPS) for the new Oslo University Hospital – Rikshospitalet.

Our delivery includes six 2,500 kVA DRUPS units that will ensure continuous, stable power for one of Norway’s most advanced and mission critical hospital projects, scheduled to open in 2031.

This marks an important strategic milestone for BOS Power and reflects our long-term investment in competence, engineering capacity, and delivery capabilities within complex backup power solutions.

The project highlights the essential role of robust, future ready power systems in safeguarding critical infrastructure.

BOS Power Group strengthens its Finnish footprint with the acquisition of PCBI Oy 👏

We’re pleased to welcome PCBI Oy to BOS Power Group. With this acquisition, we expand our capabilities in backup power and cooling for critical infrastructure and continue building a strong Nordic presence following the earlier acquisition of Gen Tech Oy.

Driving Denmark’s Green Transition: BOS Power Leads Sorø BESS

BOS Power has been selected by Connected Infrastructure Capital GmbH (CIC) and Twig Energy to deliver a turnkey 25MW / 100MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) for the Sorø project in DK2, Denmark.

This flagship project will play a crucial role in advancing Denmark’s green transition, increasing grid flexibility, and enabling the efficient integration of renewable energy sources 🌍

As the system integrator, BOS Power will provide a complete EPC solution, including battery systems, energy management and control systems, transformers, switchgear, and comprehensive engineering services.

We are pleased to welcome Kalle Kataja as Chief Operating Officer at BOS Power Finland!

Kalle will lead the operational side of the company, covering our Marine Propulsion, Emergency Power, Energy Storage, and Construction & Industrial business areas – the latter especially focused on mining. Based at our office in Vantaa, he will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting our continued growth in Finland.

Kalle holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from LUT University in Finland and brings extensive leadership experience from Temet Group Oy and Väistö Group, where he served as COO, Production Director, and member of the Executive Team.

“We’re very happy to welcome Kalle to BOS Power,” says Jørn Ove Hellen, Director Operations. “ His broad experience and strong operational background will be a great asset as we continue to strengthen our position in the Finnish market.”
