This week, Aanderaa Data Instruments As is participating in the ASOF (Arctic–Subarctic Ocean Fluxes) workshop at the University of Bergen. We value our close collaboration with the University of Bergen and the wider research community and look forward to meeting colleagues for discussions and knowledge exchange. This autumn, the UAK2 team sailed aboard the Norwegian icebreaker KV Svalbard to deploy an ocean observation system in one of Earth’s most climate-critical regions. From launching deep-sea rigs to installing a 20-meter sensor string near the North Pole, they gathered vital data to improve climate models—and even connected with schoolchildren through the creative Float Your Boat initiative.
