Why we couldn't go home with our newborn right away
The doctors explained that our baby's jaundice was caused by a blood type incompatibility between me and my baby. This caused her bilirubin level to become higher than normal, so she needs treatment, regular blood tests, and close monitoring until it's safe for us to go home.
A little update... We're still in the hospital. ❤️
