Erről a folyamatról, és a saját receptjeim alapján kevert, kizárólag természetes összetevőket tartalmazó, japán stílusú füstölőpálcikákról a következő hetekben részletesebben is írok.

What if the fragrance you're smelling is a doorway to a story? Would you like to step inside and explore?

Recently I got inspired by Stephen King's Fairy Tale.
The scent was described as a sweet, round chocolate and vanilla like aroma, with a hint of cherry. This is how Charlie, our hero smells the poppy meadow when he arrives to Empis.
Please, read more books!📖

Based on these three ingredients I decided to mix
•cacao husk
•vanilla powder
•red sandalwood
•opoponax/sweet myrrh
•to get that cherry note on the top I blended the mixture with red wine.

Let me tell you, it's fabulous!
The colour is dark cherry red, and it smells woody sweet with a hint of bitternes.

I'm pretty satisfied with this tangy orange&red cabbage sauerkraut!
🍊

Lightly fruity, yet pleasantly sour. Packed with goodies for the gut.
The only thing is that there're only two jars left...

I'll need to make some more.

I was inspired by last year at the to make onion shio koji, and it turned out so well, that one of my goals for 2023 is to learn how to make my own koji!

Maybe some of you might be familiar with my logo. But if not, here I grab the opportunity to tell you something about it!

🔺 It has been designed by Kata Bánkövy @katabankovy after she had some experience in the macrobiotic cooking and lifestyle with me.
🔺The symbol of the bowl has a lot of important meanings in my life. But first of all, it shows my enthusiasm for cooking and eating.
🔺It also reminds me of Laozi’s words - “Clay is fashioned into vessels, but it is on their empty hollowness, that their use depends. “
🔺	It represents the “beginner’s mind”, which can be cultivated and refilled. This state of mind helps me to see more clearly without prejudice, and keeps me more playful while I'm giving a shiatsu treatment.
🔺I have a decent collection of Oriental hairpins and chopsticks. These little bridges form a connection between the human and the divine, so there was no question that it would be included in my logo.

Isn't it kawaii?

I'm happy to share it with you, and I'll keep you updated with all my new projects this year!

The Japanese have a saying, that for every new food we try we gain seven days of life.

That's why I added appelwood-smoked dulse to my soy tempeh.
