Hebben jullie onze Zchug al ontdekt? Deze felgroene, pittige kruidensaus is echt een van mijn favoriete geheimpjes in onze keuken!
Zchug komt oorspronkelijk uit Jemen, maar is inmiddels geliefd in heel het Midden-Oosten. En terecht! Het is gemaakt van verse kruiden - peterselie, koriander, chilipepers, knoflook en verschillende specerijen. Samen vormen ze deze intense, levendige saus die letterlijk alles beter maakt.
Wat ik zo geweldig vind aan Zchug is hoe veelzijdig het is. Een lepeltje door onze hummus? Fantastisch! Over onze geroosterde zoete aardappel? Hemels! Bij onze couscous salade? Perfect! Het geeft die extra kick, die frisse pit die een gerecht net even bijzonder maakt.
Remco en ik maken onze Zchug altijd vers - je ziet het aan die prachtige felgroene kleur. Geen kleurstof, gewoon pure, verse kruiden die hun magie doen. En ja, het is pittig, maar op zo'n goede manier dat je er meer van wilt!
