Just before the debut of my " No pressure" single, I decided to release a second Hip Hop Instrumental EP which features four tracks. All tracks are produced and mixed by myself with the intent to showcase the versatility of hip hop and its sub-genres, but more importantly, to reproduce an array of emotional sides that we all possess.

Each of these tracks aims to take you on a journey of emotional exploration, but the track "Full Circle" is the one that took the most time in terms of writing and mixing as it blends around 10 instruments that both cooperate and fight with each other symbolising the internal struggles that we all go through. It has two parts in itself and what I try to portray sonically with it is that life essentially boils down to a lateral spiral. Something like Earth's movement through space or the spin of atoms (at least in my imagination). There's and ascent, culmination and descent which if looked from another perspective looks like a circle- thus the name- Full Circle :D Anyway it makes me very happy if people listen to my music as it charges my inspiration to create. I hope you enjoy!

Catalyst coming out on 5th of Sept. It's a tune which comes out straight of an action movie or a sports commercial. Some interesting choices were used for sounds, such as ambient noises with bird calls and turbo sounds from a tuned car.

A very weird piece of my work is coming out soon. It is hard to describe it with words but it reminds me of some action scene from a Marvel movie. Lets say its an instrumental mashup of DnB and hardcore but in reality it's me recording cats, seagulls and forced induction noises, overprocessing them, regretting my choices during the mixing stage and having a whole lot of fun :D . I even threw in a trumpet solo at the end to make it pass as a song :D Stay tuned!

Here's something a bit different that I produced. It's a variant of a pop/ soul genre that could potentially accompany two voices- one falsetto/ soprano and a tenor. It was originally created for a remix assignment which, if you are interested, can be found further down the feed under Masego- Mystery lady remix.
