Been so busy lately I completely neglected our FB page and website. Heres a recent finished animation for starters.

Corona Renderer is fully working on the render farm nodes now .. pleased with this update though more playing around with HDRI skies and settings tomorrow. Meanwhile 5 machines churning out the pixels this evening .. at least when I left the office :)

We have been experimenting with VRay and Corona render engines this week in particular for our big port projects where the clients are expecting automatic quality increase. (Clients know way too much these days!) So we need something that 1)renders quick but in the direction of hyper real 2)not too expensive with render nodes 3)possibility of nice (not intense) animated water 4)ease of use.

VRay and Corona are the options we chose to try. The example below is Corona 20sec render-times per frame. I find Corona much more intuitive than VRay .. its also loads cheaper.

More experimenting next week but I have a feeling its Corona were going to be going with! Fijne weekend :)

We are modelling houses this week based on typical Goslar and Hallstatt house styles. Normal maps to add tomorrow and of course some detail modelling of shutters, windows etc. All these house-templates being set up in one day is not bad going I reckon.
