Last Thursday we had the first of our series of new workshops: Energize!
Participants from Rotterdams finest IT companies Rithm, Crownstone and Almende where listening and talking about the topic 'food&energy'.
There was a big quiz testing the participant knowledge. After eight questions we had a draw, so a final and not so easy question was needed to determine the winner.
We congratulate Rithm on winning the 'health office foodbox', put together by lifestyle experts Paul and Sanne!

Via meetup.com we invited the iOS Rotterdam Group for the very first meetup event at our Rotterdam office!
We had two interesting topics:
-Background Modes, by Tatsuya Kaneko from Sense Health, where we explored the various Background Ex*****on Modes in iOS.
-Coordinator Pattern, by Milan Stevanovic from Datlinq, where we talked about using the Application Coordinator pattern, also known as the Application Controller/Flow Controller.
All in all it was a very interactive session, which off course we concluded with some beers afterwards to make it 'gezellig' :-)
Next up? We would like to host a ReactNative meetup soon!

Wow, it was an amazing Hackday again at Sense Health! Some great ideas that really came to life! From file organising solutions, to magic mirrors and hacking our own systems.
The winning team was a great collaboration between members of Sense Health Bandung and Rotterdam. They presented the Brightr Smartwatch app for Shiftworkers. They had some really nice visualisations and technically they got it to really work.

Eating & education, a very efficient combination! We get a healthy lunch so we stay fit, and we learn from an interactive presentation! At Sense we call this lunch talks, and we have them every week. This time Jelte and Jan were up!

Had a great day today at the industrial site 'de Van Nelle Fabriek', that is on the UNESCO world heritage list.
The Dutch ministry of Health organized their annual conference for their employees. We had the privilege of having our own stand and telling attendees about our ehealth solutions!
