We recently made this publication ‘Kunst maakt ruimte’ for the art collection of the Rijksoverheid.

The collection exists for 10 years and is installed over all Rijksoverheid buildings in the Netherlands. The publication celebrates the collection and highlights a selection of the artists and designers. It can be folded out twice, which leads to different page/image combinations.

Typeface Nono by , lithography by .

Many thanks to the Rijksoverheid Art Department!

Since our move to .oudkerk in spring we’ve been adjusting it to a place suitable for making and organising all kind of things. Slowly getting there now ☺️

The Oud Kerk is built in 1929 by modernist pioneer J.J.P. Oud. The white church once anchored a bold social housing experiment, designed as the church of the Kiefhoek, a place for (apostolian) gathering, reflection, and choir practice in Rotterdam South. We are currently transforming it into a collective artists space together with:

And sporadically an unknown white cat

All Directions, the book for featuring their art collection, is just out.

“All Directions explores migration through the eyes of over one hundred artists from around the world. Stories of love and farewell, of finding home and belonging. Migration is shown to be universal, timeless and above all, about people.”

The book presents 28 highlights from the collection.
We designed the book, working within the museum’s existing visual identity.

For a few more days one of our curtains is shown in in Rotterdam.
De Aanschouw is a micro-gallery that sticks like an art parasite to the facade of cafe . Since 2001 it exhibits the work of a Rotterdam based artist, every week a different one. We are the 1254th artists in the row.

We really love De Aanschouw for its persistence. Every week something new appears, and that rhythm has become something rare. De Aanschouw reminds us that doing something out of care and curiosity is enough. It keeps going, simply because it feels important to keep doing it.

Many thanks to for the invite. Still on show until Thursday at , then we’ll be replaced by lovely .
