I had the honour of teaching a group of young makers at Azania in one of the most inspiring creative spaces at Hotel The Usual .social

We talked about branding, storytelling, identity and how your personal voice is the most powerful tool you’ll ever own.
These workshops aren’t just about design…
They’re about confidence.
About seeing your strengths.
About turning ideas into momentum.
This project, made possible by Gemeente Rotterdam gives young people (16–30) the chance to explore fashion, design and entrepreneurship.
Seeing them grow, create and find their voice… that’s the real magic.
Grateful to be part of this journey. And grateful for spaces like The Usual, where creativity and community can breathe.

From fashion dream to high-end reality ✨
KURO, Rotterdam’s leading salon, is moving to an AAA+ location on the Meent.
And WOAU! is behind the ‘rebrand’, the brandbook, signing, the upcoming new website in 2026 and several other brand activations and branding assets. Some of them you can eat too!

bridges the gap between High Fashion and Hairstyling, working with big brands and institutions like Vogue and Paris Fashion week and many more.
For me, this one’s personal, fashion has always been in WOAU’s DNA. A fascination that became a collaboration!
