Upominki is a non-profit project space, run by Rotterdam based artist Weronika Zielinska, in collaboration with young artists and curators. Through its experimental program Upominki wishes to explore the concepts of hospitality, reciprocity and gift-giving theory. Because the space aims to serve as a hospitable platform for projects and ideas, it also always searches for new forms of exchange.

Our Story
Upominki is a project space, often being run in collaboration with other artists and curators, located in the house of Rotterdam based artist Weronika Zielinska and her family. Upominki means in Polish "gifts", which indicates the method and form of existence of the space. Through its experimental program Upominki wishes to explore the concepts of hospitality, reciprocity and gift-giving theory. Because the space aims to serve as a hospitable platform for projects and ideas, it also always searches for new forms of exchange.
